Not known to many country music fans, country music had originated in southern United States in the 1920s. Stemming from both Western music and American folk, country music started to become popular in the 1940s. Today, country music is the second most popular music choice for music fans to listen to in many parts of the country or even the world over. Melodious and harmonious tunes of country music tend to be relatively simple and are mostly played on vocals and even on instruments.
